Discovery zone fort worth8/13/2023 The go-karts were breaking down which slowed down wait times while it took several staff members to resolve track/cart problems. Nothing was explained how it worked-agenda. Seriously! I asked for a manager and she laughed and said you can purchase a play pass and put whatever amount additional on pay per ride/game for each child. We just spent 500.00 and you wouldn't let me add two more game/ride cards for two little boys. She told me they couldn't do that once a party was closed it was closed. I asked for her just to let me add on two cards. We had two kids that showed up appx 15-20 min late bc of a accident on the expressway well we had already payed for the headcount at the beginning. They got payment very short after arrival. She brought in our pizza and drinks then left which left me to serve everything to everyone which is what I was paying for. If I could rate my sons birthday party a "0" l would!!! We arrived and went to our room where I had to go seek our party attendant. The kids will have plenty of fun on the go kart tracks. There is plenty of arcades and a bar in the main building.Įxcept for the dragster, this is mainly a young kids/family oriented place. The worst is probably the fact that there is no rules of conduct on the track.Although you hear on the speakers that bumping is forbidden, you can`t expect to pass the slower karts without beeing slammed in a corner. There is nobody on the tracks to flag slow drivers warning them to let you pass if you are faster, and those kids will not let you pass, especially on badly designed track like those. If you are already a go-kart fan, you won`t have fun there. The tracks are short, the 4-stroke engines are very tired, the seats are not adjustable, so very short back fo the seat to the pedals distance for tall drivers, and on one of the tracks, the tires are as narrow as a mountain bike. They give you a plastic rechargable card initially, so just make sure you have enough money left on that card before waiting in line if you wanna try it a 2nd time! The price is 16$ for 3 passes if my memory is correct. The track is pretty short, not sure about the length, but enough to experience that acceleration rush. ![]() If you have never tried those 300HP propane-fueled engines dragsters, its a must.
